Already in March and It’s crazy how l’m sitting here and thinking about the past year 2021 and how it have made a great impact in my life both negatively and positively

I have carried these lessons into this year 2022 and l don’t regret it. So allow me to damp them here.

1:- Those people who are making you smile can one day become the reason behind your crying too.

2:- Don’t expect too much from others because expectations always hurt .

3:- Some pain never truly heals. But you have to learn to respect them and move on.

4:- The best of opportunities will knock from doors you never expected to. Keep an open mind and it might work wonders.

5:- Don’t take out your frustrations on the people who love and care for you because one day their patience may run out and they may call it quits with you.

6:- Sometimes Being alone all the time is not good , just try to go out for a walk or try to connect with your old school friend or the people you have lost touch

7:- This world is not for the kind hearted ones. If you want to survive in this selfish world . You need to be little selfish and smart.

Remember, straight trees are always cut first.

8:- Don’t expect other people to acknowledge what you feel for them.People just don’t care.

9:- If they don’t value you today, they won’t value you tomorrow either. Don’t waste your time for wrong person.

10:- Most of the people with whom you are making promises to be in contact forever. Five years from now, you won’t even remember each-other’s faces.

11:- Don’t seek advice from random people because most of the times those advices are merely an opinion, backed by no evidences.

12:- You can beautifully ruin your present by overthinking about future and regretting about past .

13:- Know your worth. If you don’t value yourself, neither will give you value.

14: - Taking care of one’s health was another precious lesson that I think all of us might have mastered in.

15:- Selfcare isn’t selfish, Being good to yourself is good for others too because you simply can’t help others if you aren’t running at your best.

16:-Be kind always, you don’t know what the other person is going through

17:- Value what you have It’s not just our loved ones, family and friends that we should be grateful for. It’s the small things that we took for granted till now, such as healthcare and frontline workers, or having the ability to smell and taste, something that many people infected with Covid lost.

Every year teaches you something; it might be full with joy and laughter for all 365 days, or it can show you that life is unpredictable, with suffering, fears, and failures all around you. Every year teaches you something, whether it be happiness or grief. If it's happiness, it instructs you to be grateful for the moment that made you smile, and it teaches you that everything is fleeting. Smiles and cries do not last forever; it is a combination of the two that brings balance to our life.

These lessons were like a lifeline in my life, and I’m grateful that 2021 I was given the opportunity to participate in a learning experience that has changed my life. The chapter to “Believe in Yourself” for me, started this year. I was a person who always waited for an approval for the tiniest of things may be because I was doubtful of my worth and the power of decisions. But 2021 brought me closer to my dreams for I had the passion to keep them going. The passion for my work and the realisation that yes, I can be correct or I should try it once and check if I can do it made me feel confident, empowered and proud of myself. 2021 has given me the confidence to be myself, the power to realise my dreams and passions.
